The Swedish company Exte, founded in 1898, is located about 350 km north of Stockholm. Today, it is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of all types of stakes – the so-called "štice" – used for transporting logs. Their stake systems are applied in both road and rail transport worldwide.

Exte offers a wide range of stake types that can be installed on various timber transport superstructures. More than a century of continuous development has enabled these products to deliver a high level of safety and maximum efficiency in daily operations.

In addition to stakes, Exte also manufactures complementary equipment – tensioners (ratchet straps), hooks, and chains – completing a full range of products for safe and reliable timber transport.
